I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support this year. A special thanks to Jeanne Hyder for serving as the president of the Westside PTO. She and her team have done a great job supporting students and teachers. Their contributions to Westside are too numerous to list, however some of the highlights are: assembling, collating and mailing the Patriot Post to all of our families, pushing for and getting new carpet for the Media Center, funding and supporting the PTO scholarship program.
The athletic boosters club under the leadership of Bert Bentley continues to raise money and support all athletic teams from buying uniforms and equipment to putting on the athletic banquets. As the year is coming to a close, plans are already in the making for next year as far as banner sales and football program ad sales. If you have a student that is involved in any of our many athletic teams, I encourage you to join the athletic boosters and become an active member. More...
